Safety First
Please get Familiar with the Safety Equipment on Board
- Life jackets- The captain must understand who is in your party so that the appropriate life jackets are available.
- Flare kit
- 1st aid kit / Container of vinegar
- Fire extinguishers
- The captain and 1st mate (when available) are current with their CPR certifications
- Cell phone service is usually available
- The boat is equipped with a VHF radio. Use channel 16 to contact the authorities
- Please do not bring glass containers
- Please consider the marine environment that you may be in while on charter trips. Catfish, sting rays, jellyfish and insects may be encountered during these trips.
